Born in 1957 as the eldest son of the 13th Nakazato Tarouemon
1979 Graduated from Musashino Art University, Faculty of Art and Design, Department of Sculpture
Graduated from the same university in 1981
1983: Started making pottery at the 13th generation Nakazato Tarouemon Pottery Studio
1984: First time selected for the 16th Nitten Exhibition with his hammered blue Karatsu hand-held pot "Kairoku"
2000: Won the Minister of Education Award at the 5th Asian Crafts Exhibition
2002: Succeeded to the name of the 14th Nakazato Tarouemon
2003: Selected for the 50th Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition with "Tataki Karatsu Ware Tsumeji Tsubo"
2005: Selected for the 52nd Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition with "Karatsu Ido Tea Bowl"
Since then, he has been selected six times until 2010.
2007: Became a full member of the Japan Crafts Association
2011: Received the Karatsu City Government Merit Award and the Navy Blue Ribbon Medal.
