It is a rare hand-formed tea bowl in Karatsu. In particular, this is probably the first tea bowl made by Mr. Taroemon.
When we think of tea bowls on all four sides, we tend to think of Chojiro's black raku tea bowls, "Mukiguri", but since it is a Madara Karatsu, it is a famous bowl that fully retains the character of Karatsu.
You can enjoy the contrast between the front, which is well-fired, and the back, where the straw ash glaze has been elegantly melted, and you can enjoy the best Karatsu clay flavor.
