This product is a copy of the famous Karatsu ware "God of Fortune" made in the Momoyama period. It is a masterpiece that inherits the traditional techniques of old Karatsu ware while adding Naoto Yano's own arrangement.

The "God of Fortune" is characterized by its beautiful black glaze (candy glaze) finish, and this piece beautifully reproduces that unique color and texture. It is made using the "himozukuri" technique (a technique of forming clay into strings and stacking them in a ring) and is finished with the "tamazing" technique (a method of placing a stone on the inside and shaping it with a wooden spatula). This is a traditional method that does not use a potter's wheel, and its soft form is attractive.

This large-sized water pitcher is perfect for use at a tea ceremony. Of course, it can also be used for a variety of purposes, such as decorating an interior or using it as a flower vase. For example, it can also be used as a water pitcher in a sushi restaurant.

This piece beautifully displays Naoto Yano's outstanding technique and deep understanding of old Karatsu ware. Please add this special water pitcher, which recreates the charm of a masterpiece from the Momoyama period in modern times, to your collection.
