[Ceramics history]
Born in Arita, Saga Prefecture in 1968. Former name: Hiroshi. After graduating from Imari High School, he went on to study painting at Tama Art University.
After dropping out of university in 1994, he studied under the Juyondai.
In 2013, he became the chairman of the Important Intangible Cultural Property Preservation Organization (Kakiemon Ceramic Technique Preservation Society). In February of the same year, he took on the name of the 15th generation.
