Kintsugi "The Charm of Gold Joinery" Exhibition

We are pleased to announce that we will be holding an exhibition entitled "The Charm of Kintsugi" in our gallery on the second floor of our store.
Kintsugi is a traditional Japanese repair technique in which cracked or chipped pottery is repaired with lacquer and decorated with gold or silver. It is a craft that breathes new life into pottery, giving it beauty and strength, and is attracting attention from around the world.

This exhibition will feature works of Karatsu ware and Arita ware, which we handle, that have been given a new look through kintsugi (gold repair).
