Seigo Nakamura

[Ceramic history]

  • 1975 Born as the grandson of Seiroku Nakamura, holder of Saga Prefecture Intangible Important Cultural Property ceramic art white porcelain.
  • 1998 After graduating from Kyushu University, trained at Seiroku kiln
  • 2002 Received Bikyo Award (1 seat) at the Saga Prefecture Art Association Exhibition Selected for the first time at the Japan Traditional Art Crafts Exhibition
  • 2003 Selected for the West Japan Ceramic Art Exhibition
  • 2004 Kyushu Yamaguchi Ceramics Exhibition Saga Prefectural Chamber of Commerce Federation Award Received Saga Prefectural Art Association Exhibition Alumni Award Recognized as a member of the Arita Ceramic Art Association
  • Selected for the Japan Ceramic Art Exhibition in 2005 Certified as a regular member of the Japan Kogei Association for being selected for four consecutive years at the Japan Traditional Art Crafts Exhibition
  • 2006 Selected for the Kyushu Yamaguchi Ceramics Exhibition Selected for the Japan Traditional Art Crafts Exhibition Received the Saga Prefectural Governor's Award at the Saga Prefectural Art Association Exhibition
  • 2011 Kikuchi Biennale Selected
  • 2013 Japan Traditional Art Crafts Exhibition Tokyo Governor Award
  • 2019 8th Kikuchi Biennale Grand Prize
