[Ceramic history]
- 1986 Born in Karatsu City, Saga Prefecture
- 2004 Graduated from Saga Prefectural Arita Technical High School, Department of Design
- 2006 Graduated from Human Academy Osaka School of Graphic Design
- 2011 Studied pottery under his father (Sakurei Okamoto)
- 2012 "Exhibition of karatsumono, a pottery of Karatsu that blends into your life" at Isetan Shinjuku
- 2013 "Karatsumono tea bowl 100 selection" at Hankyu Umeda Main Store
- 2014 "Tea time with Karatsu pottery" at Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi, Tokyo
- Currently holding solo exhibitions all over Japan

2004年 佐賀県立有田工業高等学校 デザイン科卒業
2006年 ヒューマンアカデミー大阪校 グラフィックデザイン科卒業
2011年 父(岡本作礼)のもとで陶芸を学ぶ
2012年 伊勢丹新宿店にて『暮らしにとけこむ唐津の器 からつもの展』
2013年 阪急うめだ本店にて『からつもの tea bowl 100選』
2014年 東京日本橋三越にて『唐津の器でお茶時間』
現在は日本各地で個展を開催
