The rainy season in northern Kyushu is about to end, but it hasn't yet.
Either way, summer is finally here.
It looks like it's going to be hot again this year.
Summer vacation is starting for the kids, and I want to make some fun summer memories.
Our Ichibankan store is located in Karatsu,
Although we deal with many Karatsu ware artists, the store has been called "Sanemon's Store" since my father started it about 50 years ago.
As a result, we also handle Arita ware, including Kakiemon and Imaemon kilns.
Meanwhile, we have recently signed a contract with a trading company in Arita called "Marubun".
We are now able to introduce Arita ware pieces that we have not carried before.
We are introducing some of Fukuizumi Kiln's blue and white porcelain works in our online store.
Many of the designs are classical, such as the pine, bamboo, plum and blue sea wave patterns, but if used well,
I think it goes well with both Japanese and Western cuisine.
We would like to introduce you to Arita ware, which has a deliberately classic feel and is all hand-painted.
