Happy New Year everyone!
Did you have a relaxing New Year's holiday?
This year is the year of the snake. The snake symbolizes "eternal youth and longevity" because it continues to move forward despite difficulties and twists and turns.
The social situation is unstable this year,
Let's work hard and be flexible.

Now, Gallery Ichibankan will be holding a special New Year's event, "Naoto Yano New Works Exhibition," from the 25th.
In recent years, his personality and works have been increasingly highly praised.
It is no exaggeration to say that Professor Yano has become one of Karatsu's most representative potters.
In any case, the basis is the classics of Old Karatsu and the Yi Dynasty,
New pieces that are based on these arrangements are also released little by little each time.
I'm really looking forward to seeing what new works we'll see this time.

There will be no additional listings on the online store this time,
The Ichibankan website is also being gradually renewed.
We have also set up pages for restaurant owners and chefs. Please take your time to browse through them during the three-day weekend starting tomorrow.

So, everyone, thank you for your continued support this year.
Have a nice weekend!

Naoki Sakamoto, Owner of Ichibankan
